# Marcelo de Souza

Professor of Artificial Intelligence
Santa Catarina State University

I received a MSc degree in Computer Science at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), under supervision of Dr. Ana Bazzan and Dr. Marcus Ritt. My master thesis addressed bi-objective traffic assignment methods for electric vehicles. I also received a BSc degree in Information Systems at the Santa Catarina State University (UDESCIbirama Campus), with partial completion at University of León (Unileon – Spain).

Currently, I am working on automatic design of algorithms and the application of these techniques to solve combinatorial optimization problems. I am also interested in traffic simulation with electric vehicles and the multi-objective energy-optimal paths problem.

You can see my Lattes curriculum (in portuguese).

You can also find me on ResearchGate and Google Scholar.
